Yes, I'm hating this recent update to only allow you to print three years at a time. We regularly run reports of all files for various solicitors and we now can't do it in this way, its extremely frustrating. Who has the time to run muliple reports for every three year period, and who has the time to be then be able to work with multiple reports when one report is an option, except leap has chosen to take it away. My understanding is that they've done this because it slows done the server too much if we have access to running reports for more than a three year period at one time.
It's obviously that people making these decisions at leap at not users and what impact this has on us. They say to run a current report directly from the leap matter screen, but it's just not the same and it also comes up with alot of other files that aren't on the report that you run.
Hello Cathryn, thank you for the feedback on this issue. We recommend you output the report in three year periods.
Simon,
Thanks for taking the time to answer me, however, we already know that LEAP will recommend that. That means that we need to run three reports, then combine them, taking over 3 times as long to do a simple search. Perhaps LEAP should reduce our annual subscription rates by 30% to compensate for the loss of time?
In other words, you haven't answered the basic question, which is why on earth did you remove this functionality? LEAP has taken a backwards step - other competing products on the market are not only cheaper, they have more functionality in many areas.
