Updated Timesheet not allowing multiple units for fee codes

Updated Timesheet not allowing multiple units for fee codes

Our firm logged support for a number of issues arising from the latest update, one of which was with the Timesheet. Today the technician informed us that the Timesheet has been updated to not allow for multiple units for fee code entries - so if we do a 500 word letter, to enter that via the Timesheet we would need to put through 5 100 letters! How is that efficient? The only way to record those items now is via Time & Fees - New Fee. Please revert to the old Timesheet - this update makes no sense and will cost us time and money!

    Absolutely agree, the current update is a waste of time and money. The timesheet is just one example, I do not see how in the world someone would think that locking the units would be a good thing. Leap's claim that they make our job more efficient is somewhat of a joke at the moment. Now if I want to time say a perusal of a 36 page document I now have to individually enter this 36 times in the timesheet, Plus it takes over an hour to get through on the online support. Clearly the updates are not checked properly before release.

      By way of follow up, we got this reply from LEAP:

      "Thank you for logging a Support Case with the LEAP HelpDesk, relating to the timesheet query.

      Unfortunately in the latest leap update for fixed fees there can be no edits in the timesheet to modify hours. Within the timesheet if you would like to add more hours you will need to add multiple fixed fee entries.

      If you are unhappy with this please provide a suggestion feedback through ideas hub;

      https://community.leap.com.au/s/ideas-user-guide

      If you would like to edit the hours/quantity for fixed fees there is a short-term resolution and work-around. Open the matter> create a new fee within the matter> edit the hours/quantity there. The change will then reflect in the timesheet."

      We use the Supreme Court of SA scale rate for billing and it is just too inefficient to have to manually edit each item because email A was seven quarter pages, letter B was three quarter pages, etc. We have had to revert to the previous version so we can bill sensibly.

      LEAP - please bring back multiple units for fee code entries in the timesheet.
