Notifications not user friendly

Notifications not user friendly

I am told that with notifications when a user opens a matter they become "subscribed" to the matter which pushs any notification occuring on those matters to that users regardless of who owns the task/notification.

The notifications could be a useful reminder of tasks missed as they link to the task and matter but if I get all tasks for other staff it because unmanageable and confusing.

The settings should be altered to allow you to filter what notifications you receive

    Hi LEAP team,

Has there been any updates to this in the last couple of years? As on review of the above process I don't believe it adequately meets our needs - but please provide further instruction if I have misunderstood.

What we require is a way that each of our team members can view their own tasks without also seeing tasks set to other team members.

Hi, it does not seem to have been updated or fixed as this issue continues in 2024. All staff members receive notifications for tasks made, irrespective of whether they are allocated to the matter or assigned the task, meaningful staff members who have nothing to do with a matter will still receive notifications, including on the matters list and in the notifications box.
