Learn how to troubleshoot calendar and tasks issues in LEAP.

General Settings

If you're encountering issues with creating tasks, opening links in a task, scheduling appointments or meetings, assigning tasks to others, or task synchronisation in LEAP, follow these steps to troubleshoot Calendar and Tasks Issues:

  1. Click the Reload button in the Calendar & Tasks tab on the matter. Please note that if newly created tasks are not appearing, you may need to wait for up to 15 minutes before clicking the Reload button.

  2. If you experience error messages when creating a task, please click the arrow next to the New Task button, then click the New Task for... option. Afterwards, close the Staff List window when it opens and try clicking the New Task button again to create the task.

  3. To check if LEAP and Outlook are connected, close Microsoft Outlook, then go into any matter and click on New Appointment. This should launch an Appointment window. If this does not load, please continue with the next step.

  4. Ensure your Microsoft 365 account is Integrated with LEAP and that the Linked Status next to your name has a green tick. 

  5. Verify that the email address in your Microsoft 365 account matches the one in your LEAP user account.

  6. Reset the Connection Between LEAP and Outlook and verify that both LEAP and Microsoft 365 are updated.

  7. Ensure that LEAP has been added to your Antivirus exceptions list to avoid interference.

  8. Perform an Automation Repair.

  9. Restart your device and try again.

    If you're unable to click on the calendar or clicking the calendar buttons doesn't open the calendar, and you're using multiple monitors, LEAP’s calendar may be opening off-screen. To resolve this, go to your Windows display settings and set a different monitor as the main display.
