LEAP is currently only partially compatible with New Outlook. While you can still perform essential tasks including saving emails to a matter, removing them, and changing the matter an email is saved to, more advanced automation features are not available in New Outlook at this stage.

For the best experience and full functionality, we highly recommend you continue to use Classic Outlook, for access to all Outlook automation features.

Organising and Categorising Your Emails Saved to LEAP

The following options allow you to organise and categorise emails saved to LEAP:

Auto Routing - When Auto Routing is turned on, any replies within an email chain sent via LEAP will be automatically saved to the LEAP matter and the email will be automatically moved to the Inbound LEAP Matter Based Emails folder in Outlook.

Move Assigned Email(s) - When the Move Assigned Email(s) option is enabled, emails assigned to LEAP will be automatically moved to the Inbound or Outbound LEAP Matter-Based Emails folders. This ensures that sent emails are moved from your Sent folder and incoming emails from your Inbox into the appropriate LEAP folders.

Assign LEAP Category to LEAP Emails - When the Assign LEAP Category to LEAP Emails is enabled, any emails saved to LEAP will be marked with a blue category icon in Outlook. This category helps you quickly identify LEAP-related emails at a glance, making it easier to manage and organise your inbox efficiently.

To enable these features:

In Outlook, click on the small arrow icon on the bottom right corner of the Save to Matter button.
The LEAP Automation Options for Microsoft Outlook window will open.
Under the Email section, enable any or all of:
- Auto Routing
- Move Assigned Email(s)
- Assign LEAP Category to LEAP Emails
