Has anyone else found the addition of Leap Productivity and Leap Accounting has slowed the processes considerably?

We are finding the change to Leap Productivity and Leap Accounting has slowed down our processing time for all things accounting. It is very clunky and not a smooth process to do things like Invoicing or Trust Statements as it was before. Shame when a new feature makes the whole program less user friendly.

Agreed. The update has made the whole functionality of Leap even worse than what it was beforehand. I cannot open multiple pages, the program freezes, and some reports do not work at all. I also notice they have still not implemented simple fixes such as being able to filter on the Payments & Debtors page, to only show outstanding debtors. On large matters, I have to run a debtors report, and this is quite frustrating. These are the types of fixes that financial users need, not adding keystrokes by separating finance onto another tab.

I agree, it's so slow now, freezing a lot and makes the whole invoicing process cumbersome. Updates should improve processes not make them worse.

Completely agree. Having the 2 screens is just making everything more difficult to navigate. More clicks needed and creates a huge risk for entries to be incorrectly if you happen to have more than one matter open. Seems that Leap think they are the ONLY program on your computer. I can't just have their program open on both screens and constantly clicking between multiple screens for the one matter is so cumbersome and frustrating.

This truly feels like a step back to the very original Leap where there was a separate computer program. Certainly not a step in the right direction.

Totally agree. This has to be the worst update Leap has ever done. It has taken me back to my SILQ days and that is the worst compliment you can get. Please revert back to how it was. Such a cumbersome system now and leads to so many mistakes when you need to make sure you close window after window after window and if you forget, it's so easy to put it on the wrong matter. Very disappointed with this update.

LEAP developers, please revert back to the one window. This new multi-click feature is so annoying.

  • Alison Bracken (Customer)

Worst updated LEAP has ever done ! Not a user friendly change for anyone. Has also caused issues with Wordbill Precedents for us. All duplicated now and half don't work, not even populating the matter number.

  • Kerrin Burrow (Customer)

Same for us, duplicate Wordbill Precedents and field errors.

It might be worth emailing client.feedback@leap.com.au; support@leap.com.au to get in contact with someone about this new version. Whilst they didn't email me any solutions they have scheduled a call with me tomorrow morning to discuss. If they can tell me how to fix the Wordbill Precedents issue or how to go back to the old version i will post on here.

I have just emailed both support and client.feedback. From past experience I'm not expecting any great results.

Hi Alison, how did you go with your call with them? Were they able to provide a way to revert back to the prior version?
