The update in version 2.5 that replaces invoice summaries with an invoice cover letter is a significant backwards step for LEAP.
Unfortunately, there isn't an option to transfer the existing content from invoice summaries directly; instead, the cover letter must be created anew.
However, it’s not a traditional cover letter, but serves as the initial page of the invoice, which means it requires inclusion of details such as ABN and invoice number, among others.
Tools like LEAP are supposed to streamline processes for professionals who have a lot on their plate, however, this change seems to be introducing extra tasks. Therefore, it's likely we will rely less on LawConnect features provided by LEAP, which often don’t function as expected, and continue using direct email with attached PDF invoices.
I am open to hearing from others who are supportive of these changes. Yet, it appears we have a situation where there are too many developers generating ideas without practical benefit.

I would like LEAP to advise how to TURN OFF the automatic generation of these new invoice cover letters. I'm having to delete them all, just slows me down.
