Renee Dwight (Customer) asked a question.
I am trying to work out if you can have the Acting Solicitor's electronic signature populate to letter precedents when they are created (as in the signature block at the bottom of the letter "yours sincerely [insert signature here]".
I note you can upload staff signatures for firm members in the application settings. But I can't seem to work out what purpose this has or if you can use the uploaded signatures for anything.
There doesn't seem to be any fields for adding signatures to word precedents.

We have these set up as a question, which then returns certain text/image based on the answer or as an IF statement based on the relevant LEAP field - I have been wanting to look into whether this can be easier done from the LEAP end, so would be keen to know other's process for this!
I asked this question to LEAP support their response was: This function is still in the works and is not yet linked to a field to be added to precedents. However, we anticipate it will be ready in the near-future for it to be used with precedents.
I have this same question, has there been any update on how we utilise this signature in the application settings in LEAP is it linked to the digital signing of documents in LawConnect? Does it pull through to the sign off in the bottom of letters etc?
We had LEAP set this up for us. It can be done. Our letters pull through the acting solicitor's name, position, signature and the firm name.
Do you happen to have an idea how? Is there a Leap field?
I'm not sure sorry. We had to have the implementations team do it from memory and it was something they had to work out how to do, it didn't seem like a common solution.
No worries thanks - guess we'll have to ask Leap!
