Hi John,
Thanks for your query. You have a few options here. Click on any of the options below to view a Support article with instructions:
If you have any problems with this you can contact our HelpDesk at support@leap.com.au or via the LiveChat.
Kind Regards,
Simon
Dear Simon,
There needs to be an option to export the entire file, with certain document types excluded (eg, memos and internal emails).
Also, large exports should be done server-side, at the LEAP backend, so that our computers are not locked waiting for hundreds of documents to export. LEAP should prepare a bundle and then send notice when it is ready to be accessed - it could then simply be downloaded from LEAP servers meaning the operator can continue working whilst the bundle downloads in the background.
Hi Nathan,
If you wish to do a larger export, this can be done. However, this is a chargeable service. If you contact our HelpDesk with details of your request, they will be able to get this request to the right party to carry this out for you.
Regarding your suggestion of options to export certain document types, this is not currently a feature. I would suggest posting this and any other feedback to our Ideas Hub under Feedback and Ideas tab for greater discussion and consideration amongst other members of the community as well as our Product team. You can find information about our Ideas Hub here.
Thanks,
Simon
Where's the "HelpDesk" contact details?
Hi Nathan,
The HelpDesk can either be emailed at support@leap.com.au or via LiveChat, which can be accessed through this link: https://leap.com.au/contact
Thanks,
Simon
I appear to have resolved this by copying the entire contents of the correspondence to a folder in the matter and sharing the folder via Law Connect
did you find out that the person at the other end has to download the files one at a time?
This is the single most frustrating thing about Leap. LawConnect cannot provide an appropriate result, if you provide an assessor with a login, there is no way to allow access to one particular file. The export is the only way to go and that is a paid service with a waiting time.
Good grief! One might have thought that the ability to export a whole file would be built in. Was this a design oversight or a way of imposing a tax on people wanting to download all their docs into a Windows folder?
