How do you direct the write off to a bad debt expense GL account?
Hi Kathy - did you receive a response to this? I would be interested in knowing this as well. Cheers Jen
I have been trying to figure this out too. I did the same process the other day to include a discount in an invoice that hadn't been done originally. It ends up in the account discounts given. So I decided to change the GL code to my bad debts GL code and then do the above. This sends them to bad debts in the accounts. I will then change the GL code back once I am done.
