Hi Rhonda, did you end up getting an answer to this? I've trying to print a cheque for the first time since we migrated to LEAP and none of the built-in templates are suitable for our existing pre-printed cheques.
Unfortunately no. Our Trust cheques print beautifully which is thankfully about all we need now. We make every endeavour now not to use office cheques, so even on the off chance we need one, it will be rare and we can write one up rather than print it. Sorry - I understand that is really not very much help for you. Probably the best thing is to get someone on LEAP chat to see if they can talk you through how to amend the settings.
Hi Angela
I have found a 'workaround' which I was sent which may assist you:
1) Create new payment
2) Fill in fields
3) Click the Print button > it will state it will print after saving
4) Save and close the payment
5) From the print window select "Print to LEAP' and then click on 'Print"
6) the Print to LEAP 'Save to Matter' window will then pop up. Select the "Preview the document' tab and then print the cheque from this window.
Hope this helps!
Hi Rhonda, thank you, I ended up just printing to PDF and editing the PDF to fit my cheques! I'm in contact with our bank about our pre-printed cheques as they were surprised that they don't line up with LEAP - apparently our cheques must be a super old template as they work with software developers to ensure it works.
Thank you for you reply, thank goodness I don't do too many cheques!
