Hi Wendy,
I would ask that you please contact our Support team regarding this issue via Live Chat or Email (support@leap.com.au). We will then be able to investigate the root cause further with you directly.
Kind Regards,
Simon
Hi Simon
It's not a once off problem, after I did the last update, when email created and I wanted to attach documents, there was no option to except through Law Connect. Not even I can open the docs through Law Connect.Very frustrating, please fix the problem. This is such a time waster, why fix what is not broken.
seems there might be a simple mis-communication causing this - when you open outlook and try to attach, it defaults to Law Connect. In the top right hand corner, click where it says (in blue) "Basic Attachment (Legacy)" it will then change to allow a standard attachment to be sent with the email.
I did what Megan did above. It's confusing though as you have to change to "LawConnect" to send it as a normal pdf. Then click on the 3 dots and put as default
so glad there is now a function for setting it as default - i had not seen this when i first posted my reply.
It reverts back to Law Connect on our system as a default setting. Mainly evident when you wonder why the pdf has not attached and then note it stuck in the email as a link.
Hi Wendy,
I agree the email should not default to Law Connect as we don't use it either.
I agree it should NOT default to Law Connect as lot of people and firms do not use it
Once again Leap forces us to use a program which is at best hit and miss and worse, completely useless. LawConnect rarely works. Thankfully you can use the "Basic Legacy" to continue to attach. Leap forced us to use Word for Leap which continues to cause us multiple problems with merged field documents. It would be nice if Leap canvassed their users about these changes before just foisting them on us.
