Items to consider:

• Are you going to be replacing any old computers/laptops? These computers need to meet LEAP’s system requirements to ensure you are able to seamlessly work using LEAP.

• Are the internet speeds in your new office going to be sufficient to service your entire workforce?

• Have you set up your antivirus and firewall exceptions for LEAP, to allow LEAP to send and receive data from the LEAP servers without hiccups? 

• If you have replaced some computers, have you cleared the old devices from user profiles, to ensure they cannot be used to access LEAP by bad actors?

When getting new infrastructure or hardware, you need to ensure that it is going to meet all of your organisation’s needs from a performance standpoint. For instance, if you are only going to be using a new computer for LEAP, Microsoft Office, your accounting software and internet browsing, this may require different system specifications that if you also intend to use the computer for personal use, such as gaming or high-quality streaming. 

When moving offices, there’s much to consider security-wise. Have you reviewed your security protocols in relation to:

• All new and old hardware;

• The software you use;

• Authentication and authorisation;

• Training for your staff members on cyber security;

• Security protocols for access to hardware, software and client data.
