Learn how to create a new matter from an existing card via the Cards List and correctly link the card to that matter.

To create a new matter from an existing card:

Click the LEAP Menu > Home > under Cards > View Cards and locate the card you want to associate with the new matter.
Open the card and click the Matters tab located under the Card Details section.
Right-click on an empty area of the Matters tab and select New Matter.
Enter the required information for the new matter.

Please note that these steps will allow you to create a new matter from the Cards window, however, the card is not automatically assigned as the client. You will need to manually add the card to the matter.
