To keep your LEAP–MYOB connection active and uninterrupted:

• Enable Auto Export in LEAP

  1. Go to Menu › Settings › Application Settings.

  2. Under Accounting › General, tick General Ledger Auto Export and click Save.

• Sync at least every 6 days.
  MYOB refresh tokens expire after 7 days of inactivity. Syncing within 6 days ensures the connection remains valid and your journals continue to export automatically.

LEAP connects to MYOB using a secure authentication token.
If journals are not synced for more than 7 days, MYOB automatically invalidates this token.

When that happens, journal exports are paused and you may receive an email titled:

Action Required: LEAP General Ledger Auto Export to MYOB Disabled

This email is sent to the user who originally enabled Auto Export, prompting them to reconnect LEAP and resume syncing.

If your connection has expired, follow these steps to reconnect LEAP to MYOB and resend any unexported journals:

1. In LEAP, click Menu › Accounting › General Ledger Link (under Office Accounting).

2. The General Ledger Link will open in your default web browser.

3. Set Export Status to Error/Not Exported, then click Sync Now (bottom-right).

4. When prompted, sign in to your MYOB account to authorise LEAP’s access.

5. You may also be prompted to enter your MYOB Administrator Data File credentials:

   - Username: Administrator
   - Password: (leave blank)

   If these credentials do not work, contact MYOB Support to confirm your Administrator Data File credentials, which are required to  authorise integrations such as LEAP.
   
   
6. Select the relevant company data file and click Submit.
7. If the sync still fails:

• • Go to secure.myob.com and sign in.

  • Find your company data file.

  • Click Revoke Access beside LEAP to remove the old connection.

  • Return to LEAP and repeat steps 1–6 to reconnect.
