Current Conveyancing Matters Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Matter & Clients > Conveyancing > Current Conveyancing Matter

Purpose: Lists all active Conveyancing matters, including property details, matter information and key dates. Use matter and staff filters to narrow down the results.

Report Trigger: The Current Conveyancing Matters report exclusively includes active Conveyancing matters, with property details drawn from the 'Property' card attached to each matter. Completed, archived, or non-Conveyancing matters (even those with a 'Property' card) are excluded.

This report focuses exclusively on active matters; therefore, the staff filters include only Current staff members for focused results. If a staff member becomes inactive, please update the staff information or status of the relevant matter to ensure accuracy. 

Report Filters:

Matter 

Includes two filters:

  • Matter Status: Filters results to include only matters with the selected status(es).
  • Matter Types: Filters results to include only matters with the selected type(s).
Staff

Includes two filters:

  • Staff Responsible: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff members are assigned as the 'Person Responsible'.
  • Staff Acting: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff members are assigned as the 'Person Acting'.
Display

Includes two display options:

  • Group By: Allows users to group the list by:
    • None
    • Matter Status
    • Matter Type
    • Staff Responsible
    • Staff Acting
  • Expand Row Groups: only active when the 'Group By' option is not 'None'.  
    • No: When set to 'No', the grouped rows remain collapsed, showing only the group headers.
    • Yes: When set to 'Yes', all grouped rows are expanded, displaying all rows within each group. 

Report Fields:

Matter No.Conveyancing matter number.
ClientThe matter's client.
Resp.The Person Responsible on the matter.
Act.The Person Acting on the matter.
Matter TypeThe matter types of the matter.
Matter StatusThe status of the matter.
Property AddressThe property address, entered in the 'Property' card of the matter table.
Exchange/ContractThe matter's Exchange or Contract Date, entered under the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter. 
SettlementThe matter's Settlement Date, entered under the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter.
