Cost Agreement Received and Outstanding Report

How To

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Matters & Clients > Cost Agreement Received and Outstanding

Purpose: Tracks matters marked as 'cost agreement required', monitoring whether a cost agreement has been received from clients for these matters, with results filterable by the matter's opened date range.

Trigger: For a matter to be included in the report, the 'Cost agreement required' checkbox must be ticked under the Accounting tab in the Matter Details window.

The Date Range filter narrows results based on the matter's opened date, determined by the Instruction Date entered in the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter. The selected date range must be less than one year.

Report Filters:

Date Range

Displays all matters with an Instruction date within the selected date range.

NOTE: The selected date range must be less than one year.

Group By

Group the results by:

None: No grouping is applied.
Staff Responsible
Staff Acting

Report Fields:

Matter No.	The Matter number.
Description	The Matter description.
Client	The matter's client.
Instruction Date	The Matter's Instruction date set in the Calendar & Tasks tab.
Resp.	The Person Responsible on the matter.
Act.	The Person Acting on the matter.
Client Phone	The first phone number on the client card.
Received Date	The Date Received as entered for the Cost Agreement in the Matter Details window.
