Matters within the Cooling Off Period Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Matters & Clients > Conveyancing > Matters within the Cooling Off Period

Purpose: Lists matters currently subject to the Cooling Off period.

Report Trigger:

Displays conveyancing matters that are within the Cooling Off period, determined by the Cooling Off Date entered under the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter.

Matters typically included in this report have one of the following statuses:

  1. "Cooling Off": When the recorded Exchange Date is confirmed, but the Cooling Off Date has not yet arrived.
  2. "??Exchanged": When the recorded Exchange Date is confirmed, the Cooling Off Date has arrived, but it has not yet been confirmed.

Report Filters:

Staff 

Includes two filters:

  • Staff Responsible: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff members are assigned as the 'Person Responsible'.
  • Staff Acting: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff members are assigned as the 'Person Acting'.
Matter TypeFilters results to include only matters with the selected type(s).
Display

Includes two display options:

1. Group By:

Allows users to group the list by:

  • None: No grouping is applied. 
  • Matter Type
  • Staff Acting
  • Staff Responsible

2. Expand Row Groups: Only active when the 'Group By' option is not 'None'.  

  • No: When set to 'No', the grouped rows remain collapsed, showing only the group headers.
  • Yes: When set to 'Yes', all grouped rows are expanded, displaying all rows within each group. 

Report Fields:

Matter NoThe Conveyancing matter's matter number.
ClientThe matter's client. 
Matter TypeThe matter's matter type.
PropertyThe property address as recorded in the 'Property' card of the matter table.
RespThe Person Responsible on the matter.
ActThe Person Acting on the matter.
Exchange/ContractThe Exchange or Contract Date as recorded under the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter. 
Cooling OffThe Cooling Off Date as recorded under the Calendar & Tasks tab of the matter.
