Add the following folders to your antivirus exceptions list:

  NOTE: the wild card * is important as there are three different LEAP related folders.

• C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\*
• C:\ProgramData\LEAP Office\*

• C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\LEAP Desktop

If you are using an antivirus or firewall software that is unable to use “wildcards” or requires additional specified application paths, the eight files below should be added to your antivirus and or firewall exceptions list:

Firewall and Antivirus Configuration

If your antivirus or firewall uses web-based exceptions, add the following domains to the allow list to ensure LEAP runs smoothly:

• *.leap.com.au
• *.leapaws.com.au
• *.leap.services
• *.leap.build
• *.cortoaws.com

If you use multiple security products, make sure each one includes these exceptions.

AWS Hosting

LEAP is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which uses dynamic IP addresses across multiple data centres. Because these IPs change automatically, it’s not possible to whitelist LEAP by IP address.

Allowing the above wildcard domains ensures uninterrupted and secure access to LEAP services, in line with AWS best practices and LEAP’s Information Security Policy.
