How To

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Trust > Trust End of Month > Account End Of Month

Purpose: Runs the Account End of Month (EOM) for the period following your last account EOM date, generating five Acount EOM reports.

Important Notes:

Month ending date is set on each Trust Bank Account.
To set the End of Month date for each bank account:
- From the LEAP Matter List, click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings. The LEAP Application Settings window will open.
- Click Accounting > under Bank Accounts > Trust.
- Select the Trust Account to amend the EOM Date.
- Change the Last EOM Date.
Users are not able to print End of Month General Trust Reports for the current month or future date.

Changing End of Month Date will not reset the page numbering. Page numbering will continue to increment.

Reports Included:

Trust Overdrawn Report	Displays all instances where a matter or trust account has become overdrawn.
Trust Trial Balance Report	Displays all matters with trust balance and/or trust transactions.
Trust Journals Report	Lists all trust journal entries for a given period.
Trust Account Payments Cash Book	Lists all trust payments and reversals, as well as a Cashbook Summary for the period.
Trust Account Receipts Cash Book	Lists all trust receipts, reversals and bank deposits for the period.

Report Page:

Next Run Date	Specifies the period for which the General End of Month (EOM) process is executed.
Month (Year)	Displays the month and year corresponding to the generated reports.
Reports	Provides a downloadable PDF version of the two reports.
Actions	Indicates the available actions for the selected period.
