NSW - Verification of Identity
The Verification of Identity Standard is set out in Schedule 8 of the Participation Rules for Electronic Conveyancing. It applies to all mortgagees whether or not they participate in electronic conveyancing. The Registrar General has amended Schedule 8 in the latest version of the NSW Participation Rules which took effect on 9 November 2015
Accordingly the following forms, based on the Rules, have been added to LEAP:
- Client Authorisation (LL-NSW-PR638);and
- Identity Agent Certification (LL-NSW-PR640)
The requirements relating to Verification of Identity are set out in the most recent LPI Circular No. 2015/09.
