If you are unable to locate a newly created matter in the Matter List, or if it appears incorrectly under "Archived Matters", follow these steps:

Refresh the Matter Page by clicking the Refresh icon (two circular arrows) in the top-left corner of the Matter window to reload the list.
Check for deleted Matters :
- On the Matter List page, click the ellipses icon (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Deleted matters are displayed in red.
- Right-click the deleted matter and select Undelete to restore it.
Run a LEAP Repair to ensure the matter is fully synchronised with the server.
Add LEAP to Antivirus and Firewall Exception List to prevent interference with data syncing.
If you are unable to locate a matter, you can run a Matter List report to help retrieve it. Here are the steps to do so:
- Navigate to the LEAP Menu.
- Select Reports > Matters & Clients > Matter List.
- You can filter matters by opening date, matter type, matter status, and staff.
- To include archived matters, ensure you select the option Include Archived Matters.
- Note that the Date Range cannot exceed 3 years if the Include Other Side filter is enabled.
- Click View to generate the Matter List.
If the issue continues and the matter still does not show unless “Include archived matters” is selected, it is likely the matter was not fully saved or synchronised to the server. In this case, please contact the LEAP Client Support Team for further assistance.
