User encounters the following message when trying to open an appointment from a matter in LEAP. Error: The appointment cannot be found in the default outlook calendar

The message is self explanatory, but there may several possible reasons for this.

  • The appointment was created in a calendar belonging to a secondary Outlook account on the user’s Outlook profile (i.e. not the default) via the LEAP Outlook add-in.

  • The appointment was created and saved to a matter before Enhanced Calendaring was enabled and the Outlook account is not linked to the LEAP user.
