VIC Property Matters: LIV Contract Available in the InfoTrack Property Interface

Following on from recent InfoTrack communications, Victorian practitioners using the LIV Contract can now prepare their Section 32 Vendor Statement and Contract of Sale from one convenient location within the InfoTrack Property Interface.

The LIV Contract has now been migrated under the Section 32 and Contract milestone, providing a more streamlined workflow and reducing the need to navigate between different areas of your matter.

Key benefits include:

  • Prepare your Section 32 and LIV Contract in one place.
  • Reduce manual steps and duplicated effort.
  • Easily export completed contracts to share with your clients.
  • Save time across every property matter.

For matters opened prior to the changeover, you will still be able to access these in LEAP.

For more information, please contact your InfoTrack representative for a personalised demonstration.

  1. Can we please get the word version back?

For some time now LEAP seems so concerned with all of the new 'bells and whistles' with the AI integration it seems to have completely forgotten about ensuring the basics are working smoothly.

A clear example, you can use AI to generate your volume and folio into your LEAP data but what is the point when that information does not then generate into the contract of sale? I have to enter that information myself. Further, the new contract form does not allow for the vendor type trust. Only Company, individual and power of attorney.

The word version was fine, it allowed for me to nicely tailor the document with the information I needed. I could remove information that was not applicable to my matter.

On another note, why am I constantly having to enter my log in information when I open the app on my PC.

At the moment, LEAP seems anything but seamless. I hope this will change.

  2. We are having issues with the LIV Contract within the InfoTrack Property Interface, with the details from leap not fully integrating with the document and so we have to manually type contract details and party information. The form is also not as interactive as the previous Word version and we cannot delete information that is not required where it does not apply to the agreement, ie company execution where only individuals are parties to the agreement, the settlement provision of 21 days if it is an unregistered plan.

Is there a way to access the former Word version of the LIV contract particulars?
