ACT - Contract for Sale

Lawyers now have two options for completion of the ACT Contract for Sale:
  1. Order an electronic Contract through Online Contracts; or
  2. Continue to use hard (blue) copies of the Contract by purchasing as per your existing Law Society arrangements.
IMPORTANTLY, no matter which Contract preparation option you choose, you CAN still elect to complete the Schedule (pages 1-2) within LEAP, thereby utilising the full automation benefits of your LEAP matter with pages 1-2. If you do elect this option, you are able to quickly bypass completing pages 1-2 when ordering the watermarked pages of the Contract (pages 3-19) through Online Contracts. In this instance, you need only complete a small number of property details (like address) to enable the Contract for Sale (pages 3-19) to be watermarked. You may elect to also download pages 3-19 of the Contract for Sale and to omit pages 1-2 of the Schedule from the downloaded product. Therefore, you are able to continue to use the Contract in your LEAP matter to obtain full automation of pages 1-2 of the Contract. CONTRACT VERSIONS The Law Society have advised a new Contract is possible in the next 4 to 6 weeks. We will make the Schedule (pages 1-2) available in LEAP at that time.
