NSW - Power of Attorney forms

Enduring power of attorney (LL-NSW-WPA-37) and General power of attorney (LL-NSW-WPA-03) have been extensively re-coded and can be used in the following matter types:
  • Power of Attorney & Enduring Guardianship
  • Will – One Person
  • Wills – Two people appointing each other
The forms have been re-coded to allow for appointment of more than one Attorney jointly or severally. Previously, the coding provided, for instance, that husband would only appoint wife as Attorney with no one else being appointed.To achieve this change the 'Attorney' and 'Client 2 Attorney' table types MUST be completed even if husband and wife are appointing each other. The forms run a FILLIN as to whether the form is to be completed for Client 1 or Client 2.Choose option A for Client 1 or option B for Client 2. Power of Attorney & Enduring Guardianship matter type If you have two clients you will need to edit-data-table-types to add the following relevant table types to the matter:
  • Client 2 Attorney
  • Client 2 Alternative Attorney
  • Client 2 Guardian
  • Client 2 Alternative Guardian
Note: all coding is based on “Client� therefore DO NOT use Wife's Attorney/Wife's App Guardian or Husband's Attorney/Husband's App Guardian in any of the table types in the 3 matter types. Adding Client 2 to a matter
  1. Right-click on Client 1
  2. Select either New Client and enter the new client details; or
  3. Select Add Client from Cards List and select the client from the cards list window that opens.
