NSW & VIC - Legal Profession Uniform Law
The following forms have been added to LEAP in accordance with the introduction of the Legal Profession Uniform Law Act, for use from 1 July 2015:
- Standard costs disclosure form for clients - Fees under $3,000 (Form 1, Schedule 1 - LL-FED-GEN-025)
- Standard costs disclosure form for clients - For Barristers being briefed directly by a client (Form 2, Schedule 1 - LL-FED-GEN-026)
These new forms can be found in Practice Management > LEAP Forms > NSW & VIC Legal Profession Uniform Law, or by searching for the name and/or precedent code as detailed above.
We advise that allBy Lawyers NSW and VIC Costs Agreements have also been updated to ensure compliance with the Legal Profession Uniform Law.
