VIC – Conveyancing – Land Titles Office Forms

The following new Victorian Land Titles Office forms have been added to LEAP:
  • Caveat NEW FORMAT (LL-VIC-LTO-434)
  • Withdrawal of Caveat NEW FORMAT (LL-VIC-LTO-435)
As with all Transfer of Land Act forms, the new Caveat and Withdrawal of Caveat forms have been formatted in LEAP in accordance with strict Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure requirements and MUST NOT BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY. We suggest that LEAP users familiarise themselves with the use and application of the new forms by referring to the information contained in the following Guides:
  • Guide to caveat
  • Guide to withdrawal of caveat
  • Guide to grounds of claim for caveat
These guides can be found on the DTPLI website at http://www.dtpli.vic.gov.au/property-and-land-titles/forms-guides-and-fees#caveatguides. We have endeavoured to ensure that sections of the new forms do not break across columns or pages, however, as much of the forms are contained within ‘IF tests' the Word functions do not always operate as they should. If this does happen, you may need to either:
  • Insert a ‘Column Break' before the offending section, however if you then Update the document the section will again split OR
  • Convert the section to text and then insert the ‘Column Break', however if you select this method you will not be able to Update that section of the document again.
FURTHER NOTES:
  • The old format forms can still be used until such time as your current approval number expires.
  • You will not require your own approval number to use theNEW FORMATforms. These forms will show an approval number of 33711111R.
