Vic - Department of Sustainability and Environment - new forms

As you will all be aware, the Department of Sustainability and Environment has released 3 forms in an entirely new format. These forms are:-
  • T1 Transfer of Land(LL-VIC-LTO-414);
  • Mortgage (LL-VIC-LTO-415); and
  • Discharge of Mortgage (LL-VIC-LTO-416)
Due to the requirements of the DSE, these forms are heavily coded and therefore, unfortunately,take some time to come to screen and run. LEAP is not happy with the slowness of the Transfer of Land, in particular, and is currently working on a re-development of the form of automation for a faster solution. Please see the attached matter guide setting out how your matter should be completed for the forms to work correctly - Transfer of Land - T1 - Matter Guide. Please note:-
  1. Due to the strict formatting requirements of the DSE, these forms must not be altered in any way.
  2. The old format forms can still be used until such time as your current approval number expires.
  3. You will not require an approval number to use the above forms.
  4. It is only the T1 Transfer of Land which has been released in the DSE's new format. The current T2 and T3 Transfers of Land are still to be used.
  5. LEAP allows for a maximum of two people per Card in Conveyancing Matter Types only. All other Matter Types in LEAP must only have one person per Card. These forms will not populate correctly if you have more than 2 people on one card.
