VIC - Stamp Duty - First Home Buyer concession
The First Home Buyer concession increases to a reduction of 40% on the 1 July 2013 subject to the passing of legislation. As the legislation has not yet been passed, LEAP had not updated it's calculations to reflect this change.
However, the State Revenue Office Calculator has been updated to reflect this change and therefore the figures from the SRO Calculator and the LEAP calculations were different.LEAP has decided to update it's calculations to be in line with the SRO Calculator even though the legislation is yet to be passed.
