Overview

A recent Adobe security update (version 26.001.21431) introduced an issue affecting LEAP’s integration with PDFs. As a result, some users experienced issues opening or working with PDF documents directly within LEAP.

A temporary workaround was made available on 16 April, which involved running a LEAP-provided file to restore PDF functionality for affected users while a permanent fix was being implemented.

Resolution

A fix has now been rolled out to restore normal PDF functionality within LEAP. This fix is automatically available and does not require the download or execution of any external files. To ensure the fix is applied, users may need to close LEAP and all instances of Adobe, then restart their computer before reopening LEAP.

Cause

This issue was caused by a change introduced in Adobe version 26.001.21431, which impacted how LEAP interacts with PDF files.
