I think there's a way to manually clear a chequen quicker. Perhaps it's a right click option, sorry I've only had to do it once, so I can't remember how, but I do know it can be done.

Hi Jason
You can edit the Clearance Days for Cheque types here:
Menu - Settings - Application Settings
Click on "Accounting" down the left and "Payment Types"
Click onto the Cheque type you wanting to change the days for - it pops up with a window and "Clearance Days" at the bottom.
(Personal Cheques default to the 5 clearance days so that's probably the one you want to change down to 3)
To manually clear a trust cheque early, open the trust receipt and click the three dots in the top right and select Cheque Cleared.
