This has been going on form months and no matter how many times you ring the help desk it is not fixed. Apparently it is a known issue but has anyone else worked out how to fix it permanently. I have been told before printing to change the document from Portrait to Landscape mode and then back again which does work however I have muscle memory to just Ctl P .

    YES!

And I have absolutely had a gut full of losing work.

We have rung Leap and complained multiple times but they just keep telling us that the issue is being looked into.

The only thing that has worked for me is saving before I hit the print button, but sometimes I forget and lose work.

We are also having this issue. We have logged a case with LEAP just now. Our staff are having time wasted with their workstations becoming frozen from this issue, needing to then End Task, and try again. Workflow and efficiency is greatly impacted (as well as our patience with the issue).

100% agree. We are also losing patience that the issue has not been resolved. Totally over it and I have told Leap as much on multiple occasions. We even asked for the Team Leader to call back to explain, he did on one occasion, told our office manager he would call again after he met with the Team who are meant to be fixing the issue, but he never called back to provide the update. Not so great customer care. Leap are more than happy to keep taking payment from their customers, but are incredibly slow to act when there is a real issue.

I am also having the same issue, Leap is currently looking into this. However, the current work around for this which is annoying but works, before going to print, go to layout, margins and change it so any other option and then you can change it back to the original margin. Once you have done this you can then print the document with no issues.

      Hi Megan

The current work around does not work for me. As soon as I hit file, print, I get the error message. The only thing which works for me is saving my work before I print. Unfortunately I do sometimes forget to save before I print and this can result in lost work. Happened to me multiple times today which is so annoy. I do wonder how long it actually takes for Leap to look into these issues. Seems to have been an ongoing issue since November 2022 and it is now almost March.

We have noticed this error is only occurring when we go to print invoices. Everything else prints fine. Has anyone else noticed this to be the case?

  • Amy Fisher (Customer)

Lauren, it does seem to happen more often with invoices and then I thought it was only files created before a certain time but it happens on everything I do. I am considering trying to find an old version of LEAP to revert back to before this became an issue.

    • Lauren Farrar (Customer)

Hi Amy, that is a thought - reverting to an old LEAP. However, could it also have been caused by an update to Word software, and LEAP now not talking to it properly. It will still be up to LEAP to fix it but just something to consider if you do revert. Cheers.

Yes, we have some users getting this error, and some not, it's infuriating, so much time wasted!
