You just solved my problem! I couldn't work out why half of my matters are missing! I reluctantly upgraded to new version this morning and 2 minutes in I'm already annoyed
Yes! and I cannot 'print to leap' because my CURRENT matters do not show up!
HI Tina. I had to do a repair on Leap Conveyancer because I lost the Print to Leap function. It worked.
Yes - that happened to me yesterday after I updated to the current version (although it was working fine for my colleagues). LEAP jumped onto my screen and did something and it fixed it.
Thanks Nicole. I will log a call before I upgrade!
Yes, the upgrade has quite a few issues. I am having heaps of trouble with the new Settlement Adjustment Sheet. Can't do any amendments upon re-opening the document. Also moves the Discharge fee over to the Purchaser's side when re-opening the document. Tried yesterday, but Leap couldn't fix it..... Going back to the old format until they fix it.
Our firm also has this issue of having to include archived matters even though they aren't archived. Also saving to matters is intermittent on how it is done via outlook. A new LEAP category has been put into outlook, so sometimes and email saves there rather than to the matter.
This was what Leap sent us in response the the same issue. The workaround fixed it::
Our development team is currently investigating the issue of matters, cards, or precedents missing or appearing as archived after the recent update. This is likely due to rolling back to the previous working version late last year.
The team has provided the following workaround while they work on a solution.
1. Close LEAP
2. Press windows key + R > type %localappdata% > go to the folder
3. Locate and open LEAP Desktop
4. Open User folder
There will be multiple folders in the folder
5. Open and find folder Data
6. Open Database
7. Delete "User" file
8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 if there are multiple folders in "User" folder
9. Restart your computer
10. Reopen LEAP
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to all by this issue. We hope that the current version 2.3.116.0 has resolved this.
