Anyone else as angry as I am to receive Leap's marketing email making us all use 2.3.84.0 from Thursday, claiming they have had no major issues with this release? I have resorted to platform 2.1.252.0 just so I can continue to work uninterrupted by errors. Couple of MAJOR issues in my book apart, firstly is the current matters list includes a lot of closed and archived matters. They appear in current matter list as "in progress" or "settled" despite having completion dates ticked and archive numbers listed (with only option to unarchive) - so what's that all about? Then there is the list when assigning emails that offers me deleted matters as well. I can't access those deleted matters but I can assign emails (accidentally) to them. To say nothing of getting leap errors in accounting, only to go back later and see the receipt or payment was actually processed. No no major defects - just a lot of annoying issues that have the potential for errors and I don't see why I have to go through my current matters list to ascertain what really is and isn't current matters. 😡

I too am having problems. current 2022 matters appear in the archive matter list. Leap freezes each time I try to import documents into a matter and I have to shut down and restart. Very frustrating. Still having regular issues with Word failing to open successfully and Leap having to do a repair.
I am having problems as well with this new update. Not able to save emails or attachments to files (they don't appear within the matter), outlook freezes every time I open a new or existing email from Leap matter, can no longer select a folder to save attachments or emails to, its also sooo much slower than the previous version.
Add to that I cannot see any matters created this year in my current matter list...I mean seriously, Leap have sent me an email saying they will remotely log on to fix. I will give them one chance to do this and will post here if they are successful or not.
Well Patrick from Support contacted me and certainly fixed some issues for us. It would appear all of us who fatefully upgraded to the dreadful 2.3.68.0 and then reverted back to the older platform created the issue for Current matters list. But Patrick managed to fix the issues on all PC's quite easily. SO my advice is to persevere, email support, wait for a remote login as it is worth it. Poor support people must be run off their feet because Leap keep insisting on changing things that already work nicely!
Several users in our Firm reported problems in updating this. LEAP marketing's email is not very clear. It says they will be setting the minimum LEAP version to 2.3.84.0 from tomorrow (Thursday, 03/02/2022). Does this mean the older versions will not work from tomorrow? Or does it mean LEAP will not support older versions?
I have tried the support chat. I was 29th in the queue when I logged the call. I am now 12th.
Can't say for sure if it's update related, but could well be due to the timing...
A member of staff is appearing to have email address test@abc123com assigned to them instead of (of course) their actual company assigned email/user address. Perplexing to say the least.
I was 19th in Chat for about an hour...
Anyone..? Anyone..?

no idea, that's a new one. Be interested to know how you get on. I have completely stopped the chat for support - email support and wait for a reply...your time is better spent than waiting on the chat which I find frustrating.
I had the issue where current matters were only being found when I selected the search archived matters too. But LEAP jumped on and were able to fix it very quickly.
Hi Nicole,
Do you happen to have contact details for LEAP?
