INSERTING A HYPERLINK IN A EXISTING PRECEDENT

  • Hello Comley Legal, I believe this one will utilise Microsoft Word's standard hyperlink insert procedure, but please do get back to us if you believe it relates to a LEAP feature:

    1. highlight the word or phrase that you want created as the hyperlink title
    2. right click on highlighted section
    3. select 'Link' from the dropdown list (2nd from bottom)
    4. user will be presented with the 'Insert Hyperlink' window - from here they can create various hyperlink types, the most common being web page hyperlinks
    5. 'Text to display' field will automate from the highlighted words or phrases in step 1 (or they can amend that if they now wish)
    6. paste the URL of the webpage into the 'Address' field
    7. select OK
