Grace Xiao (Customer) asked a question.
Recently there has been a compulsory update requirement we received from Leap when using Leap software. However, after updates, we have been told that the microsoft 2016 version which was working just fine with Leap integration previously is no longer capatible with the latest Leap version. As a result, we are asked to upgrade to microsoft 365 and there is no other way we can use leap without upgrading. The worst thing is, we are trapped in a 3-year contract with Leap. If we choose not to continue using Leap, we are facing significant contract breaking fee and IT fee to transfer (if possible) all previous file data out of leap. Not only is this time-consuming, but also robbery of significant costs in a bad economy. I would like Leap to make available the lastest Leap version that is capatible with Microsoft 2016 as i think it was working perfectly fine before. There is simply no need for the updates.

Hello Grace, we do change our system requirements from time-to-time in order that we can take advantage of integration and security enhancements offer with our integration partners. This is particularly important when those partners cease developing legacy versions of their own software. We would invite further discussion on this with you - please feel free to get in touch.
