Can I automatically add the Branch suburb to a precedent?

Karen Kelly (Customer) asked a question.

Can I automatically add the Branch suburb to a precedent?

We now have 2 offices (Brisbane and Sydney). I have set up the 2 branches and allocated our staff members to them. Can I add a field in our precedent letters that directs the recipient to reply to either the Brisbane or Sydney office, based on the branch the Person Acting has been assigned to?

E.g. "Please reply to the Sydney office" would appear at the end of each letter and Sydney would automatically be inserted because that is the Person Acting's branch.

    Hi @Karen Kelly (Customer),

Thank you for posting on LEAP Community Discussions.

From Insert Fields within LEAP's Ribbon, you can insert the Current User's suburb onto the precedent. To do this, simply:

    1. Open your precedent in Edit mode (right-click your precedent and select "Edit Precedent")
    2. Once document is loaded, please click on "Editing"
    3. Select "Insert Fields"
    4. From the new window on your right, change the table type to "Firm Details" (this is based on Current User)
    5. Filter the result to "suburb"
    6. Select "Service suburb"
    7. Insert

As for Person Acting's specifically, I'm afraid there isn't an available field to use for this.

Let us know if you require further assistance.

    Best regards,

    Seng
