how to delete a trust bank deposit after trust deposit entries have been reversed

For clarification, my interpretation of this query is the trust bank deposit has no entries as they have been reversed. If this is the case then there is nothing to be done with the empty bank deposit and it cannot be deleted.
In future to avoid this reverse the bank deposit and then the receipt.
