Why PDF document comes up as Winmail document for email recipients.

Why PDF document comes up as Winmail document for email recipients.

When clicking on a PDF in a matter to email, they always ring and state they cannot open for it is a winmail document when sent as a PDF.

    Thank you for posting on LEAP Community Discussions.

     

    This generally is related to outlook configuration issues, could you or your IT team check the following within Outlook.

     

    • File > options > mail > compose messages > confirm "format" is set to "HTML"
    • File > options > mail > Message format > confirm "Convert to HTML" format is set
